Join our Pharmacy Support Staff- Back End team with Omnicare and work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering the best customer support.Day In The Life: As an Back-End Pharmacy Support staff member, you will work to receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with delivery drivers. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:Preparing the finished prescriptions as well as other light warehouse dutiesPerforming physical inventories of medicationScanning all medication pending for deliverySorting baskets for delivery by facility units, location, and delivery timesThe Team: Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings.Although Omnicare pharmacies are not open to the public, you'll work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with the company's mission, allowing our customers to focus on giving their patients the best care.Position SummaryESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerform all tasks in accordance to OSHA and Facility safety guidelines.Process facility returns in the computer system accurately and timely.Restock medications in appropriate locations after processing.Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted for accurate updating.Read put away labels to determine storage location of merchandise and verify item is correct.Package medications in unit dose packages accurately.Perform other duties as required by Supervisor/Management.MARGINAL FUNCTIONSAbility to cross-train and perform to standard in various functions as required by Management.Operate battery changing equipment.Required QualificationsAbility to read and write.Work overtime as required, in emergency situations or when prior notification is given by management.Physical Demands: This position has an occasional lifting requirement (0-33%). Other physical activities include Frequent bending/reaching/stooping (25%) Frequent walking/standing/climbing (25%)Work Environment: Warehouse and outside environments, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.Required Qualifications: Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state lawPreferred Qualifications: Additional Skills/Experience, but not Required:Prior experience in the long-term care industryOne (1) or more years of experience in a pharmacy, retail, or medical settingEducation:Verifiable High School Diploma or GEDAnticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$16.00 - $26.21This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
