<p>The Coordinator of Education Licensure and Clinical Programs is responsible for overseeing clinical placements, student assessment processes, and licensure-related communication within the Department of Education at Carroll University. The Coordinator also serves as the certifying officer for undergraduate and graduate education licensure programs. This role ensures that these functions are effectively implemented, clearly communicated, and regularly evaluated for continuous improvement.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate clinical placements and programs </li></ul> <p>o Coordinate clinical placements for the Carroll University Teacher Education Program and Master of Arts in Teaching Program; collaborate with the Associate Dean, Director of Student Teaching, faculty and staff to ensure consistency of clinical placements, school support, and student success</p> <p>o Individualize placements to meet student needs. Take into consideration Department of Public Instruction (DPI) certification, proximity to students' home and/or work situations as applicable. Facilitate school and/or district specific requirements for placements</p> <p>o Advise students related to clinical experiences and other licensure requirements</p> <p>o Perform other placement-related duties as assigned</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate licensure and endorsement </li></ul> <p>o Conduct audits, maintain records, and verify that all DPI requirements have been met for initial and additional license candidates</p> <p>o Work with initial and additional licensure candidates: respond to questions, evaluate transfer course work, and contact program area chairs regarding course substitutions or transfer work</p> <p>o Work with Registrar's Office as appropriate</p> <p>o Communicate with students, cooperating teachers, and partners directly to address their questions</p> <p>o Establish consistency in Carroll University forms and policies</p> <p>o Endorse education candidates for licensure</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate assessment activities within the undergraduate and graduate education programs </li></ul> <p>o Collect and analyze programmatic data</p> <p>o Collaborate with the Associate Dean, faculty and staff to ensure consistency, efficiency, and accuracy in program assessment and external (i.e. DPI, Title II) reporting</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree required </li><li>Prior experience with K-12 settings preferred </li></ul> <p>Technical and Interpersonal Skills</p> <ul> <li>Expertise in data management and/or survey software </li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to maintain flexible work schedule </li><li>Ability to work autonomously, make decisions, and seek and respond to feedback </li><li>Experience navigating complex systems and processes </li><li>Ability to build strong relationships across and within the department, university and K-12 school systems </li><li>Flexible thinking and responsiveness to shifting needs </li><li>Engages in the university's commitment to justice-oriented practices that promote equity, access, inclusion, and belonging </li><li>Willingness and ability to contribute to the life of the University through the University mission and ethos </li></ul> <p>Please submit a cover letter and resume for this position along with this electronic application.</p> <p>Carroll University makes employment opportunities available to qualified individuals whose skills and experience make them suitable candidates for placement.
