<p>Job Description and Duties</p> <p>Are you interested in a meaningful and impactful career? The Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) could be the place for you!</p> <p>The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) serves as the coordinator and liaison for the Information Technology Branch (ITB). Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager II, the AGPA performs the more responsible, complex, and difficult analytical assignments related to administration, personnel, strategic and operational planning, consultative, hiring, onboarding, and general branch support services to IT management and staff for the Department of Pesticide Regulation, Office of Technology Services (OTS).</p> <p>Primary duties include supporting IT personnel from an office administrative perspective, coordinating training across OTS, supporting staff on travel requests and logistics, and supporting the IT procurement specialist in budget planning and IT and branch procurement.</p> <p>The AGPA is also involved in identifying and updating departmental processes of a more responsible, varied, and complex nature.</p> <p>You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement.</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Performance of these duties requires the use of computers, infrastructure hardware, networks, databases, electronic mail (both internal and external), voicemail, and the Internet </li><li>May occasionally work evening or weekend hours </li><li>Occasional statewide travel on short notice may be required to support regional office locations </li><li>Travel may require overnight stays, driving, and flying </li><li>Performance of the duties indicated for this position occasionally require the ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10lbs </li></ul> <p>Note: This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need.
