<p>Job Description and Duties</p> <p>Are you looking for an exciting and fast-paced career? If you are interested in a challenging opportunity in a high-energy, team-oriented environment, you are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Under the direction of the PM I, the AGPA performs the most complex analytical tasks relating to the provision of federal and state disaster assistance grant programs within the Cal OES Recovery Directorate. Conducts a broad range of advanced journey level analytical tasks relating to financial, programmatic, and administrative requirements of the Public Assistance (PA) Disaster Grant, California Disaster Assistance Act (CDAA), Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG), Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness grant (HMEP), Pre-Disaster Mitigation program (PDM), Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA), Individual Assistance, Interagency Recovery Coordination (IRC), and other grant programs. Supports the Joint Field Office (JFO) and provides direct support to local jurisdictions through all phases of emergency management. As part of the Interagency Recovery Coordination Branch (IRC), the incumbent also provides assistance for six primary recovery outcomes: Community Planning and Capacity Building, Economic Recovery, Health and Social Services, Housing, Infrastructure, and Natural and Cultural Resources.</p> <p>Must be able to analyze and resolve governmental/administrative problems of an intermediate to high-level complexity using various tools and program applications; gathers and analyzes data to develop and evaluate alternatives for a variety of program related areas; makes recommendations to management on those alternatives; communicates effectively orally and in writing, and functions in an environment with demanding and changing priorities logically and creatively.
