<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Maintains and reviews weekly inspection reports of state-wide rest areas and reports on the status of contractor compliance. Coordinates with the county/district SCDOT Maintenance field offices to generate solutions for maintenance needs at rest areas.</p> <p>Assists with maintaining budget for Department of Maintenance's (DOM) maintenance contracts. Provides costs trend analysis for contract line items for use in fiscal year budget planning. Provides ad-hoc contract/budget reporting in support of the Director of Maintenance Office.</p> <p>Generates procurement documentation (shopping carts, purchase orders, goods receipts, etc.) for purchases against maintenance services and commodity contracts. Procures these goods and services within SCDOT certification limits.</p> <p>Assists with emergency maintenance operations in the DOM office during inclement weather events. Reviews and processes payments for invoices pertaining to incumbent contracts-custodial and grounds maintenance at Rest Areas, UST Fuel/Diesel Tanks, Sanitary Lift Stations, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>A bachelor's degree and one (1) year of relevant program experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.</p> <p>The physical demands for the essential functions includes sitting or standing at a desk for an extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
