<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: 57 INTERLAKEN RD - STOCKBRIDGE, MA</p> <p>Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.55 Hourly</p> <p>Description</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Receptionist for the Healing Arts Department provides a warm and welcoming environment, while creating positive first impressions for guests. She/He also performs administrative tasks and dispensary side work of daily operations.</p> <p>SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Must be available for Weekend and Evening Shifts</p> <p>ACCOUNTABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Check in guests for services, as well as changing and cancelling appointments </li><li>Responsible for opening and closing the department each day according to standard operating procedure </li><li>Assist with Linen room maintenance and dispensary duties, ensuring product availability for all services. </li><li>Respond to to therapist's needs for facility and product written requests </li><li>Work Side-By-Side with therapists to assure smooth flow of appointments and guest satisfaction </li><li>Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of each modality and an ability to describe them to guests </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, full y stocked, and well organized work area </li><li>Clearly communicate all necessary information with guests, coworkers, supervisors, and therapists' all occurrences involving staff or guests in the department or campus that require attention </li><li>Builds effective relationships with customers, identifies customer expectations, tries to see issues for their point of view, offers practical solutions to problems </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCIES</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates commitment to valuing equity, diversity and contributing to an inclusive environment </li><li>Possesses strong core ethics, integrity, and values consistent with Kripalu's Organizational principles </li><li>Defaults to a collaborative style with colleagues </li><li>Builds and maintains effective relationships, identifies internal and external customer expectations, sees issues from their point of view </li><li>Willingness and ability to be agile in work, supporting across own department as well as across the organization as needed </li><li>Actively cultivate a sense of fun, joy and optimism in yourself, your team, and with your peers </li><li>Demonstrates the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform required job elements to established standards, remaining current regarding development and trends in area of expertise </li><li>Embraces experiences as learning opportunities </li><li>Accepts responsibility for personal and professional development and growth </li><li>Models the values of Kripalu including service, presence, inquiry, compassion, practice, and integrity </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years customer service or related experience </li><li>Associates degree OR equivalent experience including training in Microsoft programs </li><li>Basic math and money/POS skills </li><li>Ability to work independently while being a team player </li><li>Prior experience with ResortSuite software a plus </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods (at least two consecutive hours) of standing/walking around the department </li><li>Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment. </li><li>Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping </li><li>This position requires lifting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. </li><li>Lifting and moving items weighing up to 35 lbs. </li></ul>
