Marathon has been recognized as a five-time Modern Healthcare Best Places to Work in Healthcare winner and a six-time Best in KLAS award winner for employer-sponsored healthcare services.</p> <p>ABOUT THE JOB</p> <p>The National Director of Clinical Wellness is a key operational leader within the company accountable for developing and applying a consistent operations lifecycle framework for population management products focused on clinical wellness. The role acts as the company subject matter expert (SME) and clinical leadership for certified health coaches (CHC) and registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) disciplines. Additionally, the role is accountable for ongoing oversight of the company's accredited health coaching training program through the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC).</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Accountable for developing and applying a consistent operations lifecycle framework for population management products focused on clinical wellness. This includes sales support; oversight of client implementations; coordination of training resources/job aides for specialized chronic condition programs; utilization/engagement monitoring and barrier resolution; clinical technology vendor oversight and governance; reporting and ROI; and addressment of operational inefficiencies/gaps. Partners closely with clinical leadership and local health center operations leadership to execute. </li><li>Provide clinical leadership and company-wide representation for certified health coaches (CHC) and registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) disciplines. Accountable for relevant policies/procedures; setting documentation standards; hiring reviews; partner with operations leaders on performance improvement plans, etc. Provides leadership support to lead CHC and lead RDN positions. </li><li>Act as operations leadership for the company's accredited health coaching training program through the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching. </li><li>Participate in cross-functional committee(s) and focused on the strategy and governance of relevant clinical and operational functions. </li><li>Supervise teammates. </li><li>May perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in health education, health promotion, public health, exercise science, nutrition, psychology, or other health-related subjects, and a minimum of 10 years of directly related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have active board certification with the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching. Master's degree a plus. Prior supervisory experience required.</p> <p>DESIRED ATTRIBUTES</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated leadership in the design, execution, and ongoing operations oversight of multiple program/product offerings within a medium/large sized company. </li><li>Demonstrated effectiveness in operationalizing end-to-end strategy of a product, including ability to work within a collaborative leadership model that includes shared ownership a product, clinical and technology peer leader. </li><li>Strong analytics skills and comfort working with clinical and utilization data to define operational success of a service offering. </li><li>Strong customer relationship skills across both internal and external customers/clients. </li><li>Understanding of the healthcare landscape, including benefit design and how varying patient populations show up in motivation to make and sustain behavior change. </li><li>Proficient working within multiple technology systems simultaneously, including an electronic health record and outreach tracking system. </li><li>Demonstrated experience being in a leadership position and leading cross-functional teams through change management, specifically in a high growth company. </li><li>Relevant industry certifications a plus but not required. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000/yr</p> <p>The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and/or skill level.
