<p>This temporary, part-time position will assist the donor compliance services team in the implementation and transition from one scholarship management system to another. At the end of the position term of 6-9 months, the temporary staff member will have gained hands-on experience in project management, scholarship systems, donor stewardship, and organizational change. Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <p>Support consistency and efficiency in the scholarship awarding process across undergraduate and graduate programs. Assist in documenting scholarship workflows and operational processes. Develop user friendly training materials, guides, and presentations for campus scholarship coordinators. Collaborate with the Office of Student Financial Aid and other campus partners to support the scholarship system education and adoption. Support development of education strategies for graduate scholarship coordinators to improve consistency in donor stewardship. Assist the university with change management as it relates to the implementation of the new scholarship management system.</p> <p>Qualifications Education & Work Experience</p> <p>Either currently enrolled in a graduate degree program or possess a degree in nonprofit management, public administration, business, communications, education, or another related field.</p> <p>Desired Skills & Experience</p> <p>Have an interest in donor stewardship, higher education administration, or nonprofit operations. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be adaptable, flexible, and self-directed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software and technologies. Must be able to handle several activities simultaneously with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines and accuracy. Must adhere to strict confidentiality standards. Creativity, patience, a sense of humor and a belief in our organizational mission of: Aligning donor passion and generosity to advance Iowa State University's land grant ideals</p> <p>This position is anticipated to last 6-9 months. The position will be 20-30 hours per week at $24-26 per hour, based on experience; no benefits are offered.
