Must be available to work additional hours as needed.</p> <p>Who May Apply?</p> <p>All persons legally authorized to work in the United States</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensure control compliance by following prompt pay policies for project billings, coordinate and review consultant driven project progress pay estimates. </li><li>Serve as team coordinator in the project related tasks assigned which include accounting practices that encompass all aspects of a project from start to completion. </li><li>Schedule warranty project reviews which include reconciliation of projects. </li><li>Conduct new project set up and file maintenance. Produce and coordinate distribution of change orders. </li><li>Provide office and administrative functions including; ordering office supplies, performing best value practices, and oversee all file maintenance and record keeping between City departments. </li><li>Review employee timesheets of assigned teams and leave of absence requests. </li><li>Coordinate fleet services, purchasing required tools for inspector use, and determine RFQ documentation according to purchasing policies and procedures. </li><li>Complete all documents for construction project close out. </li><li>May be asked to perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Position requires a High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Minimum of one (1) year of experience </li><li>Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) </li><li>Requires strong math and bookkeeping skills to verify accuracy of contractor pay estimates submitted for payment </li><li>A valid driver's license is required </li><li>Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>The City offers an excellent benefit package that includes:</p> <ul> <li>Texas Municipal Retirement System - TMRS is a required retirement plan for all full-time employees.
