Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43223</p> <p>Perks of Working for the Ohio Department of Public Safety at Select Locations</p> <ul> <li>Multiple pay increases over your first years of service! </li><li>Free Parking! </li><li>Free Gym Access and Walking Path! </li><li>Onsite Cafeteria! </li><li>Onsite Daycare! </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do as an Investigator</p> <ul> <li>Research & respond to inquiries & complaints regarding alleged violations of ORC 4765 & 4766 & rules promulgated thereunder; </li><li>Prepare detailed case findings for administrative or legal action; </li><li>Collate information regarding complaints or alleged violations (e. g., conduct interviews of witnesses, respondents, suspects & other parties with possible information related to case); Gather, review, & record documentation from various sources; </li><li>Maintain accurate records & filing system; </li><li>Operate database for complaint tracking; </li></ul> <p>Click here to see full position description</p> <p>OPTION 1:</p> <p>30 mos. trg. or 30 mos. investigative exp. with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations appearing in job posting/approved position description;</p> <p>AND valid driver's license.</p> <p>OPTION 2:</p> <ul> <li>Or Completion of associate core program in law enforcement, criminal justice or in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; </li></ul> <p>AND 12 mos. exp. conducting investigations &/or inspections;</p> <p>AND valid driver's license.</p> <p>OPTION 3:</p> <ul> <li>Or 30 mos. trg. or 30 mos. exp. as Investigator Assistant, 26210 with experience corresponding to type of complaints & alleged violations appearing in job posting/approved position description; </li></ul> <p>AND valid driver's license.</p> <ul> <li>Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. </li></ul> <p>Assigned Program Area: Completion of associate core program in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Fire Science, Criminal Justice or related field of study.</p> <p>Helpful Tips for Applying:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Be detailed when describing your current/previous work duties.
