For more than 75 years, their products have been used to build the communities where Americans live, work and play.</p> <p>We are seeking a part time Custodian, County Materials in Astatula, FL.</p> <p>Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing various areas in office and manufacturing facilities; offices, restrooms, common spaces, and other designated areas to maintain a hygienic environment. </li><li>Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, repairing minor damages, and ensuring that facilities are in proper working condition. </li><li>Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items to ensure that facilities are well-stocked and prepared for use. </li><li>Manage waste disposal processes, including emptying trash cans, recycling materials, and ensuring compliance with waste management regulations. </li><li>Recognize any issues pertaining to compliance with safety regulations, sanitation standards, and organizational policies and procedures. </li><li>Interact with team members and visitors, responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing assistance as needed. </li><li>Specialized cleaning duties such as floor waxing, carpet cleaning, or cleaning sensitive equipment, as needed. </li><li>Maintain records related to cleaning schedules, supply inventory, maintenance tasks, and other relevant documentation. </li><li>Occasional minimal location landscaping to be performed including clearing snow. </li><li>Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Office and manufacturing facility environments. </li><li>Day work hours. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds and to frequent bending, lifting and standing for long periods </li><li>Standing / Walking / Climbing. </li></ul> <p>Experience & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in cleaning, maintenance, or facilities roles </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Trustworthy </li><li>Self-motivated and the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision </li><li>Punctual, a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to travel locally is a plus </li><li>Good driving record </li><li>Basic cleaning equipment supplied </li></ul> <p>The County Materials Family of Companies connects candidates with rewarding careers in concrete manufacturing, an industry that's growing faster than most.
