This encompasses providing support for field operations during bridge inspections and ensuring that all safety mechanisms are functional to safeguard both traffic and personnel. Your responsibilities will include driving the crane to job sites, overseeing its deployment, maintenance, and repairs, and operating it from both the topside and bucket positions. You will conduct routine preventative maintenance and operational checks, as well as coordinate scheduled garage maintenance and repairs. Furthermore, the position necessitates traveling to maintenance districts to assist staff with equipment and traffic control, promoting a safe working environment. It is essential to maintain your bridge inspection certification and perform inspection tasks as necessary, documenting your findings through notes, sketches, and reports.
