Responsibilities include escorting the student to and from the building at arrival and dismissal, supporting participation and engagement within a self-contained classroom, and facilitating integration into related services and general school activities. The aide supports the student across all settingsincluding classroom instruction, recess, lunch, and transitionsand assists during fire drills or other emergencies. Duties may also include assisting with toilet skills, feeding, and other daily living needs, ensuring the student's safety, dignity, and full access to the school environment.</p> <p>This position requires a strong commitment and dedication to special education, with a willingness to go above and beyond to support students' growth, independence, and overall well-being.
