<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Service Supervisor oversees front-end operations to ensure a fast, friendly, and efficient customer experience. This role is responsible for supervising front-end associates, maintaining service standards, supporting operational execution, and assisting store leadership with daily front-end performance.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities Front-End Operations & Execution</p> <ul> <li>Oversee daily front-end operations, including checkout lanes, service desk, and customer flow </li><li>Ensure registers are properly staffed and lines are managed to minimize wait times </li><li>Monitor transaction accuracy, cash handling, and adherence to company procedures </li><li>Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all front-end areas </li></ul> <p>Leadership & Team Supervision</p> <ul> <li>Supervise, train, and coach front-end associates including cashiers, courtesy clerks, and service desk staff </li><li>Provide direction during shifts to ensure productivity, efficiency, and service excellence </li><li>Assist with scheduling, break coverage, and labor allocation </li><li>Address performance issues and reinforce company policies and expectations </li></ul> <p>Customer Service</p> <ul> <li>Deliver a high level of customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience </li><li>Handle escalated customer concerns, returns, and service issues professionally </li><li>Promote loyalty programs, digital tools, and store initiatives </li><li>Ensure a friendly, welcoming atmosphere at all times </li></ul> <p>Cash Control & Compliance</p> <ul> <li>Oversee cash handling procedures, including register counts, safe audits, and cash balancing </li><li>Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and audit requirements </li><li>Support loss prevention efforts by monitoring front-end activity and identifying risks </li><li>Ensure proper documentation and reporting of cash discrepancies </li></ul> <p>Store Communication & Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Partner with store leadership and department teams to ensure smooth store operations </li><li>Communicate priorities, promotions, and operational updates to front-end associates </li><li>Support execution of store-wide initiatives and front-end programs </li></ul>
