<p>Job Title: Chemist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated Chemist for a QC position focused on analyzing products and determining concentrations. This role involves sample preparation, conducting analysis on various instruments, and handling some R&D projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare samples for analysis. </li><li>Conduct product analysis using instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and other characterization methods. </li><li>Perform routine tasks in the lab, spending 5-10% of the time at the site for particle analysis, sampling, and testing. </li><li>Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for potential improvements and provide suggestions. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>B.S. in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field). </li><li>1-3 years of industry experience in a chemistry lab setting. </li><li>1-3 years of HPLC industry experience. </li><li>Experience working under EP regulations. </li><li>GLP experience is preferred. </li><li>Experience with HPLC manufacturers and Empower software preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>You will be part of a small team of 3 analytical chemists, supporting both process and analytical chemistry functions. This is a growth position with potential for advancement to roles such as Associate Analytical Chemist or Analytical Chemist. No premiums outside of $15.</p> <p>Dental: 100% coverage for anything outside of dentist. $2000/year. Preventative care is covered</p> <p>Vision</p> <p>Short term disability- automatically get 20 days</p> <p>10-15 days of vacation on an accrual basis- can negotiate (looking at 3 weeks)</p> <p>6 personal days a year- prorated basis based on when they start. Can receive after employed 60 days</p> <p>8 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday</p> <p>401K plan- first of month after hired and 6 months of employment. 100% vested after 6 months. 4.5% match.
