<p>This role blends financial planning, analysis, and accounting oversight to support sustainable growth. Perform month end financial duties and help the Director of Finance with the financial statements, budget, audit and other financial reporting. Support financial forecasting, planning, reporting and analysis at both the program level and center-wide level. Be a visionary for the finance team by helping with ideation, activation and implementation.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):</p> <ul> <li>Work with Director of Finance on the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. </li><li>Develop financial models and scenario analysis for strategic planning. </li><li>Analyze program performance and funding utilization. </li><li>Assist in preparing monthly financial dashboards and KPI reports. </li><li>Track key financial indicators and prepare monthly reports for leadership </li><li>Provide insights on revenue trends, expense management and cost-saving opportunities. </li><li>Oversee monthly and annual close processes. </li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards. </li><li>Assist with managing the general ledger, grants review and month end reconciliations. </li><li>Supervise an Accounting Specialist position. </li><li>Assist with annual audits and 990 filings with CPA audit firm. Also help coordinate State and Federal audits. </li><li>Lead for Accounting software implementations/improvements </li></ul> <p>Strategic Finance & Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Advise executive leadership on financial strategy and sustainability. </li><li>Support grant proposals and fundraising with financial data. </li><li>Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting tools. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills with ability to explain financials to non-financial stakeholders. </li><li>Note: Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job. This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field </li><li>4+ years of experience in FP&A roles. </li><li>Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting and compliance. </li><li>Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Netsuite, Power BI) and Excel. </li></ul> <p>Salary Information: Grade 18 - $94,100 to $116,700*</p> <p>Additional Salary Information*:</p> <ul> <li>The salary range above is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week.
