The hours of this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be schedule-driven, have savvy negotiation skills, be highly organized, be a relationship builder, be customer service-driven, and be a team player.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Generate RFQ packages for supplier bidding </li><li>Review quotations, prepare bid tabulations, and provide recommendations for vendor selection. </li><li>Generate procurement requisitions, including Scope of Work, Drawings, Specifications, ITP, etc. </li><li>Manage purchase orders, including, but not limited to, conducting a kick-off meeting, reviewing weekly status reports, expediting (occasional in-person), and occasionally attending inspections. </li><li>Coordinate between vendors and in-house project management, engineering, and quality control groups as necessary. </li><li>Maintain MIS reports for project budgets. </li><li>Ensure on-time and deliveries as per purchase order. </li><li>Interact with Financial, Commercial, and Logistics Departments for shipments, terms, conditions, etc. </li><li>May have to travel on company business to visit and review progress, expedite work, and develop new vendors or maintain relationships with existing vendors. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skill Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent computer skills (SAP, Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and Cloud-based file sharing). </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally on company business to visit and review progress, expedite work, and develop new vendors or maintain relationships with existing vendors. </li><li>Schedule-driven with the ability to work flexible work hours to meet deadlines </li><li>Experience in global sourcing and logistics management. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Aquatech offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, company-paid holidays, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility)</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
