Join us and become part of an inclusive team.</p> <p>Client Overview:</p> <p>Our client is a long-standing and rapidly growing healthcare company in the sports/ortho space, looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join and assist their ever-growing team!</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$25/hr</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for the accurate application of all payments on time. Candidates must be motivated and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Medical Billing Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and submit clean claims to various insurance companies. </li><li>Research and perform all secondary billing. </li><li>Ensure appropriate supporting documentation is received and completed. </li><li>Review and recommend claims for adjustment/write off to management. </li><li>Accurate and timely processing of claims. </li><li>Analyze and update claims submitted and rejected. </li><li>Take charge of payment posting. </li><li>Insurance follow-ups. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Medical Billing Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of medical billing experience. </li><li>Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB). </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Excel. </li><li>Experience with collections of past due claims. </li><li>Experience in a high-volume setting. </li><li>Strong time management and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and cohesively in a team setting. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Medical Billing Specialist:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with billing software eClinicalWorks. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent is required. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
