<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Responsible for managing the procurement processes of IT goods and services, ensuring that all technology acquisitions align with the company's strategic objectives. Collaborate with various stakeholders and departments to identify IT needs and source the necessary equipment and software within budget guidelines. Maintain relationships with vendors to secure competitive pricing and quality products. Track inventory, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations. Analyze procurement data to enhance purchasing strategies and optimize the supply chain.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>PROCUREMENT INITIATIVES</p> <ul> <li>Manage the procurement process for IT goods and services, including hardware and software </li><li>Identify and pre-qualify potential suppliers. This includes the creation, management, and analysis of Request for Proposal's (RFPs), complex pricing analysis, and negotiation/resolution of resulting agreements </li><li>Collaborate with internal departments to understand IT procurement needs </li><li>Track inventory levels of IT assets and initiate reorders as necessary </li><li>Ensure that purchase orders are processed correctly and that goods are delivered on time </li><li>Monitor and analyze procurement data and contracts to identify cost saving opportunities </li><li>Develop and implement strategies to identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain </li><li>Provide information to internal stakeholders and leadership on procurement status, compliance and vendor performance </li><li>Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and best practices </li><li>Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures for procurement </li></ul> <p>VENDOR PARTNERSHIP</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain collaborative partnerships and negotiate effectively with vendors on product costs, terms, and shipping/return issues </li><li>Negotiate vendor contracts and terms </li><li>Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance and develop improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field. An alternative degree with equivalent education, experience, and training may be considered </li><li>5-7 years of related experience administering procurements/subcontracts, purchasing or contract administration using a variety of contract types </li><li>Experience with procurement software and IT asset management tools </li><li>Familiarity with RFP management and strategic sourcing methodologies </li><li>Proficient knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to relevant contracts </li><li>Excellent sourcing and vendor negotiation skills </li><li>Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to flourish in a matrix environment </li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills </li><li>Strong analytical skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communication </li><li>Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time </li><li>Able to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.) </li><li>Able to read and write at a high school graduate level </li><li>Able to lift 10 to 20 pounds </li><li>Able to view/read computer screen for extended periods of time </li><li>Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights, and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlines </li><li>Able to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal development </li></ul> <p>These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by teammates assigned to this job classification.
