Come grow with us!</p> <p>This role is not a remote opportunity.</p> <p>Scope:</p> <p>The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for tracking inventory, cycle counting, replenishing of picking areas, building organization with products, improve picking efficiencies with slotting, and maximizes warehouse space. This individual will work closely with the Distribution Analyst to determine slotting strategy to improve efficiency and reduce drive time. The role will be executing and managing on the floor activities but also must have a strong analytical background. The role will require someone that can identify an issue, track information to come to root cause, and action plan solutions.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Must be proficient in all Forklift Operating SOP's for all Heartland FPG locations </li><li>Strong analytical background to include Excel (BI a plus) </li><li>Strong problem solving skills based on data analytics </li><li>Utilize industrial power equipment to raise and lower materials to storage locations </li><li>Monitor product velocity and tracks in-house damages </li><li>Research inventory adjustments and resolve inventory discrepancies </li><li>Verify and validate inventory cycle counts, as well as quality checks. </li><li>Maintain schedule for cycle counting of product. </li><li>Assist in prepping warehouse for physical inventory. </li><li>Able to take on multiple tasks while executing daily operations safely and professionally </li><li>Replenish and maintain high velocity picking areas </li><li>Generate and distribute reports from inventory system requested by various departments </li><li>Maintain schedule for cycle counting of product. </li><li>Assist in prepping warehouse for physical inventory. </li><li>Assist with various warehouse functions including, unloading, receiving, put-away, replenishment, order-fulfillment (by both case and pallet quantities), prepare product for distribution (including wrapping pallets and labeling orders), and ship product to final customer </li><li>Organize and reconfigure building capacity with bin locations </li><li>Demonstrate safety and conduct him/herself in accordance with all safety guidelines at all times; including accurate completion of all pre-shift equipment checks </li><li>Must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be a leader </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>At least 2 years of experience in a Forklift Operator role </li><li>Analytical Experience (Excel/BI) </li><li>Must have ability to understand oral and written instructions in English </li><li>Must work well in a team environment and have strong communication skills </li><li>Forklift certification required </li><li>Must possess strong math skills and have desire to expand inventory knowledge </li><li>Must have successfully completed the Forklift I & II Matrices Sign-Off Sheets and approved by an Operations Manager. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions </li><li>Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend </li><li>Must possess visual acuity to document company records </li><li>Lifting up to 50 pounds </li></ul>
