In this role, you'll travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain our high-quality window and door products. You'll be the face of Milgard - ensuring every service call is completed with professionalism, precision, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose and repair Milgard window and door products at customer homes and job sites </li><li>? Communicate directly and courteously with customers and co-workers </li><li>Assist senior technicians with installations, repairs, and part replacements </li><li>Pick up and deliver parts; maintain inventory in service vehicles and warehouse </li><li>Clean installed products and ensure job sites are returned to original condition </li><li>? Safely operate hand and power tools </li><li>Use iPads and service software to document service calls and review schedules </li><li>? Collaborate with other Field Service Technicians on multi-tech projects </li><li>Inspect incoming parts for quality; reject and document any that don't meet standards </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - both in the field and warehouse </li><li>Keep service vehicles clean, stocked, and in good working condition </li><li>Assist with unloading delivery trucks and general warehouse upkeep </li><li>Submit closing service documentation promptly to the Field Service Office </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Window and door service/install experience required, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Glass replacement</p> </li><li> <p>Hardware replacement</p> </li><li> <p>Diagnosing and documenting product issues</p> </li><li> <p>Experience measuring and ordering products</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years of direct customer service experience</p> </li><li> <p>High school diploma or GED preferred</p> </li><li> <p>? Knowledge of safe use of hand and power tools</p> </li><li> <p>Valid Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record (per PGT's safe driving policy)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p> </li><li> <p>?
