<p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION</p> <p>Under the general direction of the Airfield and Grounds Manager, the Airfield Supervisor performs supervisory work related to the maintenance, repair, and construction of airport buildings, grounds, roadways, and associated systems and equipment. This position involves ensuring compliance with FAA Part 139 regulations, including airfield paint markings and pavement condition indexing while coordinating maintenance tasks and supervising personnel. The supervisor prioritizes and inspects work activities for compliance with safety standards, plans job layouts, and manages the airfield maintenance work order process.</p> <p>Requires availability for emergency call-in.</p> <p>COMPENSATION $ 30.92 per hour ( based on experience)</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Accountable for the well-being and support of their direct reports, providing individual training for their job responsibilities and offering mentorship. </li><li>Evaluates the work performance of direct reports; engages in transparent performance check-ins and appraisals and takes necessary corrective action or disciplinary measures when required. </li><li>Ensures that direct reports comply with authority standards regarding personal appearance, fostering a professional work environment. </li><li>Oversees the maintenance and accountability of all direct reports' equipment, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and promoting operational efficiency. </li><li>Prioritizes, participates in, and inspects work activities to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, specifications, codes, and safety standards, promoting operational efficiency and a safe working environment. </li><li>Plans job layouts and estimate materials, equipment, and tools needed for maintenance personnel to perform work assignments effectively. </li><li>Prepares and maintains both manual and computerized reports, records, and logs documenting work performed, materials used, and equipment maintained to ensure an audit trail. </li><li>Coordinates and manages the Airfield Maintenance work order process, ensuring timely assignment and completion of work orders. </li><li>Assists in preparing requisitions and maintain inventory of replacement parts and materials to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. </li><li>Monitors compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities and take corrective action as needed. </li><li>Evaluate and document pavement conditions in accordance with FAA Part 139 regulations and coordinate necessary repairs. </li><li>Participate in emergency response planning and execution as it pertains to airfield maintenance operations. </li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks to ensure a safe working environment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting potential hazards. </li><li>Regular and reliable attendance is required as an essential function of the position. </li></ul> <p>This list is not intended to be all inclusive and you may not be responsible for every item listed. Such assignments may be before, during, or after the emergency/disaster. </li><li>Complies with all HCAA Policies, Procedures, and Standards. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS)</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in Facilities Management, Construction, or related field. </li><li>Four (4) years trades experience. </li><li>Two (2) years supervisory or lead experience. </li><li>Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. </li><li>Airfield Movement Area Training within six (6) months of hire and annually. </li><li>Maintain current Certified Stripe Hog Operator Certification (within 1 year of hire), Sight Line Airfield Marking Certification (within 1 year of hire), FL Department of Transportation Pavement Certification (within 1 year of hire). (For internal hire only). </li><li>Must possess a valid Florida Driver License. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of buildings and structures. </li><li>Knowledge of codes, rules, regulations, and requirements about the area(s) of responsibility.
