<p>Non-Experienced Poker Dealer Class</p> <ul> <li>Location: Running Aces Casino Hotel Racetrack - 15201 Running Aces Blvd, Columbus, MN 55025 </li><li>Schedule: Part Time shifts include weekends and holidays. </li><li>Perks: Medical, Vison, and Dental Benefits for full-time positions, 401k, employee discount, uniform provided, Paid Time off (PTO, sick, bereavement, and holidays) </li></ul> <p>Class Schedule: September 2nd- October 2nd Tuesday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Take proper collection drops and jackpot drops. </li><li>Notify board-person or Floor person of vacant seats by using Bravo system. </li><li>Call Floor person for any problems or decisions and be able to properly explain all details of the situation. </li><li>Inform Floor person of short game before it breaks. </li><li>When needed, must be willing to 'run chips', 'set-ups', help with the 'board', etc. </li><li>Understand and follow Table games Policies and Procedures. </li><li>When being relieved from each game, communicate all pertinent information about the game to oncoming Dealer. </li><li>Cooperate with Shift Manager/Floor person/Tournament Director. </li><li>Receive constructive criticism and counseling in a positive, professional manner. </li><li>Provide a friendly, congenial, harmonious atmosphere for customers and fellow Employees. </li><li>Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures. </li><li>Attend all meetings and training as required. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have prior poker dealing experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Reliable, trustworthy, pleasant personality, able to handle pressure and difficult situations.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have flexible schedule.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to stretch arms back and forth across gaming table.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work in a noisy/crowded environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Must possess excellent communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Dependability and flexibility are a must.</p> </li></ul> <p>SKILLS & ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions. </li><li>Communication - Ability to communicate effectively with others using spoken word. </li><li>Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs and exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others while following company procedures. </li><li>Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy. </li><li>Time Management - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. </li><li>Safety - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety. </li></ul> <p>We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions.
