<p>The House Person will support various team members within the department by disposing of used and soiled materials and providing new materials including linen and amenities for the guests convenience. They will deliver the guests requests first hand in addition to requests from other internal departments. This position plays a vital role in delivering the housekeeping services throughout the entire property.</p> <p>Safety and Environmental Performance</p> <p>Lead the safety effort by personal example</p> <p>Support full hotel compliance with safety rules to further our goal of zero (0) accidents and encouragement of reporting and correcting near misses</p> <p>Adhere to SOPs and other work procedures as required to assure guest satisfaction and consistencies to our customers</p> <p>Immediately report all injuries to the supervisor or manager on duty</p> <p>Work Requirements</p> <p>Removal of trash, dirty and rejected linens and dirty dishes from floors and public areas.</p> <p>Will also include mopping, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, washing windows.</p> <p>Stocking carts, linen rooms, and corridors.</p> <p>Pulling beds, rotating mattresses and box springs, and moving furniture.</p> <p>Helping housekeepers strip beds, make beds, and clean rooms when needed.</p> <p>Remove trash, debris, and cobwebs from balconies/patios</p> <p>Previous housekeeping or equivalent / hotel experience preferred.</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required.</p> <p>Basic English communication skills (speaking, reading & writing)</p> <p>Preferably bilingual</p> <p>Able to communicate clearly and courteously with guests and associates</p> <p>Able to receive instruction from a supervisor and carry it out quickly and accurately, with a positive attitude</p> <p>Detail-oriented</p> <p>Flexible to work holidays and weekends as needed</p> <p>Enjoy working in a diverse environment</p> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Pay: $17.02 - $20.50 per hour</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401(k) </li><li>Dental insurance </li><li>Employee discount </li><li>Flexible schedule </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Vision insurance </li></ul> <p>Shift:</p> <ul> <li>Day shift </li></ul> <p>Work Location: In person</p>
