<p>The McHenry County Environmental Division of the Public Health Department has a full time opening for an Administrative Specialist.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Provide administrative support to the Division of Environmental Health. Performs work of moderate to complex difficulty involving typing, filing, electronic imaging, processing, data-entry, answering phones and assisting the general public by providing non-technical information and/or documents and other general clerical duties.</p> <p>This position requires good communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other computer software. Comfortable in a fast paced, high volume, multi-tasking workplace. Team oriented environment.</p> <p>Work Hours: 8am - 4:30pm</p> <p>Work Week: Monday - Friday</p> <p>Location: McHenry County Administration building 667 Ware Rd Woodstock IL</p> <p>JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Data entry, electronic imaging, handling payments, receiving and processing complaints, processing permits, document retrieval and extensive interaction with the public and staff.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>High School diploma or GED.</p> <p>Other requirements:</p> <p>All Health Department staff are required to be up to date on the COVID vaccination series as determined by the CDC, including all primary series doses and boosters as of September 2023.
