Myers)</p> <p>Type: Full Time</p> <p>Schedule: Days</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Breast Imaging Supervisor serves as the technical expert and point person for daily operations, which includes direct oversight of mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and support services associated with breast imaging.</p> <p>Essential Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Reports to the senior manager and works directly with the director of women's imaging, modality supervisors, and service supervisor in planning service, staffing and technology. </li><li>Provides daily leadership and supervision within the breast imaging department and maintains oversight and responsibility for each location where breast imaging is performed. </li><li>Maintain a constant state of readiness and compliance with MQSA, ACR, IAC and all regulatory requirements. </li><li>Detailed knowledge of workflows for breast imaging protocols and implementation of operating procedures and department specific policy across modalities to ensure high-level of services for breast imaging. </li><li>Provide workflow analysis and changes as needed or required to meet service, budget expectations, and improved safety for patients and staff. </li><li>Responsible for performance improvement, patient experience, and all regulatory requirements for mammography and with other modalities as required. </li><li>Evaluates and makes purchasing recommendations for equipment, as well as assuring appropriate medical supplies are available for services provided in breast imaging. </li><li>Provides direct communication with breast imaging radiologists to ensure superior patient care and services. </li><li>Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested. </li><li>Provides implementation and education of best practices at all locations providing breast imaging services. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Required: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology or equivalent hospital-based program.</p> <p>Required: Current ARRT and state of Florida license to practice medical radiography.</p> <p>Required: ARRT registered with advanced level certification in mammography</p> <p>Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification</p> <p>Preferred: Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business-related field preferred.</p> <p>Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in mammography department</p>
