<p>Piper Companies is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Data Management Director to lead IT operations, cloud modernization, and data strategy efforts for an organization within the capital equipment industry. The IT Infrastructure & Data Management Director will oversee core technology teams, strengthen global infrastructure, and drive data-focused innovation.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure & Data Management Director:</p> <ul> <li>Lead IT Help Desk, Software Engineering, Data, Commercial Systems, Corporate Systems, IT Security, and Software Support teams. </li><li>Ensure reliability, scalability, and security across global IT infrastructure. </li><li>Drive Azure cloud strategy, modernization, and optimization. </li><li>Guide data initiatives, analytics development, and data-driven business insights. </li><li>Partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Finance to support growth through data. </li><li>Lead efforts to transform proprietary data into revenue-generating offerings. </li><li>Implement best practices in cybersecurity, network management, and system administration. </li><li>Manage system integration, enterprise applications, and data governance. </li><li>Oversee IT budgets, project ROI, and vendor relationships. </li><li>Work onsite as needed to collaborate with teams and interface with edge environments. </li></ul> <p>Requirements of the IT Infrastructure & Data Management Director:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus. </li><li>15+ years of IT infrastructure and data leadership, with 10+ years in senior roles. </li><li>Strong expertise in Azure cloud architecture and cloud modernization. </li><li>Experience leading cross-functional technology teams. </li><li>Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, system administration, and global data governance. </li><li>Strategic thinker with strong execution and communication skills. </li><li>Background supporting capital equipment or industrial organizations is a significant plus. </li><li>Familiarity with IoT/edge concepts helpful but not required. </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the IT Infrastructure & Data Management Director:</p> <ul> <li>$180,000 - $200,000 base salary </li><li>Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law. </li></ul> <p>Keywords: IT leadership, Azure, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data strategy, data governance, capital equipment technology, enterprise systems, digital transformation, cloud modernization, IT operations, commercial systems, corporate systems</p> <p>This job opens for applications on 2/27/2026.
