The new platform is composed of gRPC microservices and Lambdas in Go, Kafka streams, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, and micro-frontends on Node and React. We're utilizing industry best practices and tools like OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Github, SignalFX, and Figma to accelerate innovation.</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>Care.com is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead our Enterprise, LifeMart, and International businesses. This executive will oversee an organization of 30-50 engineers, driving both technical excellence and business innovation.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with deep architectural expertise, proven success scaling consumer and enterprise products, and the executive presence to represent Engineering with senior leadership and the IAC Board. Beyond operational execution, this leader will act as a strategic partner to our GM and Product teams, shaping business growth through technology.</p> <p>We're looking for someone with a track record of stability and long-term impact, passionate about building inclusive, high-performing teams and embedding AI workflows that unlock new opportunities. Care.com is an IAC company (NASDAQ: IAC).</p> <p>Salary Range: $225,000- $275,000. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of IAC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
