Xponential Fitness' portfolio of brands includes Club Pilates, the nation's largest Pilates brand; CycleBar, the nation's largest indoor cycling brand; StretchLab, a concept offering one-on-one and group stretching services; YogaSix, the largest franchised yoga brand; Pure Barre, a total body workout that uses the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements; Rumble, a boxing-inspired full-body workout; BFT, a functional training and strength-based fitness program; and Lindora, a medically supervised weight loss clinic.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Consumer Experience Technology lead to oversee the design, delivery, and performance of all consumer-facing digital products across Xponential's brand ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the evolution of web and mobile experiences that power member engagement-from booking and subscriptions to real-time class interaction and profile management.</p> <p>As a director in the technology organization, you will collaborate closely with product, marketing, data, and engineering teams to ensure our digital platforms are seamless, scalable, and reflective of each brand's identity. You will serve as the voice of the consumer in technical design decisions-translating behavioral insights and brand goals into high-impact, user-first digital solutions.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strategic & Technical Leadership. </li><li>Define and execute the technology roadmap for consumer-facing platforms, aligned with brand priorities and enterprise goals. </li><li>Champion a consistent, scalable, and intuitive member experience across all digital touchpoints-web, mobile, and emerging channels such as wearables. </li><li>Represent the voice of the consumer in technical architecture and product design, ensuring platforms evolve to meet behavior, brand, and performance expectations. </li><li>Cross-Functional Partnership & Collaboration. </li><li>Partner deeply with Marketing, Field Operations, and Brand leaders to shape digital experiences that reflect each brand's unique identity and priorities. </li><li>Serve as a strategic collaborator with Data, AI, Product, and UX teams to embed behavioral insights and innovation into consumer applications. </li><li>Ensure shared accountability for consumer impact across teams-bridging business goals and technical execution to deliver measurable outcomes. </li><li>Execution & Delivery. </li><li>Lead the full development lifecycle of consumer-facing applications-from backlog planning through agile delivery and continuous improvement. </li><li>Manage internal engineers and external partners to deliver high-quality features on time, on budget, and aligned with stakeholder expectations. </li><li>Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that meet both immediate and long-term business needs. </li><li>Platform Reliability & Performance. </li><li>Maintain high levels of platform availability, responsiveness, and performance-especially during peak usage and brand campaigns. </li><li>Drive system stability and resilience through observability, incident resolution, and architectural optimization. </li><li>Ensure compliance with data privacy, accessibility, and security standards across all consumer-facing platforms. </li><li>Innovation & Continuous Optimization. </li><li>Integrate AI-powered features-such as personalized experiences, session recommendations, and automated support-into digital channels. </li><li>Promote continuous platform evolution through experimentation, user feedback, and emerging technology assessments. </li><li>Enable consistency and scale by championing shared frameworks, modular components, and multi-brand readiness. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $180,000 - $200,000</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental and Vision benefits </li><li>This role is eligible for a monthly cell phone allowance </li><li>Empower is our 401k company. Your 401k would be fully vested at the start of year 3 </li><li>Complimentary corporate memberships to XPLUS and XPASS </li><li>Discounts on retail brand merchandise- up to 30% off wholesale price </li><li>On-site gym </li><li>On Campus Amenities: Reborn Coffee Shop, Hangar 24, Mini Putting Green, Basketball Court, Bird Sanctuary, Car Washing Services (M/W), Dry Cleaning Services </li></ul> <p>Xponential Fitness LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Professional Experience. </li><li>10+ years of experience in software engineering or technical product development, with at least 3-5 years in a technical leadership role focused on consumer-facing digital platforms. </li><li>Proven success in building and scaling modern web and mobile applications for high-volume consumer engagement. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership in hybrid team environments-managing internal engineers and coordinating with external vendors. </li><li>Experience in agile delivery methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management in a cross-functional setting. </li><li>Technical & Hands-On Skills. </li><li>Strong background in frontend development, mobile platforms, and API-first architecture. </li><li>Expertise in designing secure, scalable, and high-performance consumer applications. </li><li>Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., scalable compute, storage, CI/CD, observability). </li><li>Familiarity with secure payment processing, identity management, and privacy-by-design principles. </li><li>Integration experience with enterprise systems such as CRM, analytics, and marketing automation tools. </li><li>Awareness of AI/ML capabilities that enhance personalization, engagement, and automation in user journeys. </li><li>Comfortable dedicating at least 10% of your time to hands-on architecture reviews, prototyping or critical bug resolution. </li><li>Collaboration & Leadership. </li><li>Proven ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders-such as Marketing, Field Ops, and Brand teams-to shape digital experiences aligned with business goals. </li><li>Strong communicator who can articulate complex technical topics to executive and cross-functional audiences. </li><li>Ability to influence without authority and drive shared accountability for outcomes. </li><li>Education & Certifications. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred). </li><li>Professional certifications (optional but beneficial): Agile/Scrum, AWS or Azure cloud certifications, Product or Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF). </li></ul>
