<p>REPORTS TO: Vocational Director POSITION SUMMARY: Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School is seeking a Building & Property Department Instructional Aide for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will assist licensed vocational instructors in the shop area. Knowledge of the competencies and skills required of students in the Building & Property Maintenance-related area is preferred. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work with all students by assisting the approved vocational technical instructor in delivering quality training to prepare the students to meet the demands of working as aspiring professionals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Assists in the implementation of a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of students. Assists in delivering effective instruction with a strong focus on the Massachusetts Vocational Technical Curriculum Building & Property Frameworks and performance standards to students of varying abilities and skill levels. Responsible for effective techniques of classroom management/discipline and behavior reinforcement. Performs any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent-Director and/or their designee. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma required. OSHA-10 credential or willingness to obtain upon hire. Experience in the areas of building and property maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Must be authorized to work in the United States. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Massachusetts Chapter 74 Licensure in Building & Property Maintenance. Industry-related certifications and/or credentials related to the program area. SEI Endorsement. Previous experience working with students in a high school setting. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, permanent school year position (184 days) This position is part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Bay Path Teachers Association (Paraprofessionals) and the SWCRVSDC. SALARY: Appropriate step on BPTA (Paraprofessionals) pay schedule pursuant to the BPTA (Paraprofessionals) CBA.
