<p>What to Expect</p> <p>As Tesla expands, we are seeking exceptional leaders to drive our growth by forming exceptional teams and refining processes that enhance the entire customer experience. As a General Manager, your primary responsibility is to guarantee the site's success by overseeing all sales and service operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead cross-functional managers and institute streamlined, customer-focused processes to propel Tesla's mission of accelerating the global transition to sustainable energy. We're looking for a candidate who can make a significant impact in this leadership position.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Team Development: Understands individual motivations and coaches for growth, fostering a culture of inclusion and psychological safety </li><li>Customer Satisfaction: Manages the end-to-end customer journey, monitoring service trends, and improving communication, processes, and relationships </li><li>Adaptability: Excels in dynamic problem-solving, leading with a clear "why," and remaining resilient under pressure, while actively pursuing personal development </li><li>Results-Oriented: Communicates business priorities, ensures clear expectations, and takes ownership of site performance, setting and achieving targets while holding the team accountable </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree, professional experience leading an end-to-end customer-facing operation in a fast-paced environment, or equivalent experience </li><li>Relentless drive for excellence; provides recognition and feedback daily while making team members feel included and valued </li><li>First-principles thinker who finds a creative path to solve previously unsolvable problems, with exceptional integrity through dedicated and ethical approach to sales and service operations </li><li>Commitment and enthusiasm to work evenings and weekends alongside the rest of the team </li><li>Must be able to stand or sit for 8 hours or more; occasional travel required for offsite meetings and events, typically less than 10% of the time </li><li>Valid driver's license required </li><li>For roles working in CA, CO, HI, ID, MD, MS, NV, NC, OH, PA, TN, UT, VA, DC: This role requires you to possess a Motor Vehicle Salesperson License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. Without the salesperson license, you cannot engage in sales activities. To check if you are eligible for the salesperson license, please contact the DMV in your state of employment </li><li>For roles working in AZ, GA, HI, IA, IN, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, VT, WA: Notary license is preferred.
