You will help manage day-to-day financial activities, support month-end and year-end close processes, and provide valuable insights that drive strong financial performance. This role requires a strong understanding of US-specific accounting regulations alongside full-cycle accrual accounting knowledge, plus attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a global team.</p> <p>This is a full-time, in-office position, based in our San Francisco office.</p> <p>Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:</p> <p>Financial Management:</p> <ul> <li>Support month-end and year-end close processes </li><li>Prepare and maintain accrual workpapers </li><li>Review monthly reconciliations prepared by our outsourced accounting firm </li><li>Assist with ASC 606 revenue calculations and reconciliations </li></ul> <p>Record Keeping and Compliance:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate records of invoices and invoice-related details for audit and other purposes </li><li>Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible for review </li><li>Assist business compliance across multiple states, including corporate registrations, annual reporting, license maintenance, and tax-related matters </li><li>Liaise with government agencies and payroll/benefit vendors to resolve any issues </li></ul> <p>Data Management and Project Support:</p> <ul> <li>Manage office mailbox daily, including scanning and storing documents </li><li>Assist with ongoing internal projects by verifying the accuracy of migrated information </li><li>Address any discrepancies or issues with migrated data to ensure system integrity </li></ul> <p>What Do You Need to Be Successful?</p> <ul> <li>2-5 years of experience with full-cycle accrual accounting, preferably in the tech industry or a fast-paced start-up environment </li><li>Strong knowledge of US accounting regulations </li><li>Expertise in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, QuickBooks). HubSpot experience is a plus </li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work independently, as well as part of a global team </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is strongly preferred </li><li>ASC606 experience is a strong plus </li></ul> <p>Compensation, Perks & Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Base pay range: $70K - $110K.
