<p>With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.</p> <p>The Cancer Center located at Pali Momi Medical Center is the first integrated Cancer Center serving Central and West O'ahu. It is designed with the patient experience in mind, offering physician consultations, infusion therapy, cancer navigation services, laboratory services, and radiation oncology all under one roof. Our multidisciplinary specialized care teams are dedicated to treating specific types of cancer with the latest treatment options, and the highest quality, expert care in a safe, comfortable and caring environment.</p> <p>You could gain valuable first-hand clinical operations and health care experience as a Clinic Assistant. In this role you would perform routine tasks ranging from monitoring supplies to administering health care to patients of all ages to supporting departmental staff. We are looking for someone diligent and motivated, who enjoys learning in a fast-paced clinical environment and shares our commitment to creating a healthier Hawai'i.</p> <p>Location: Pali Momi Cancer Center</p> <p>Work Schedule: Rotating - 8 Hours</p> <p>Work Type: Per Diem</p> <p>FTE: 0.475000</p> <p>Bargaining Unit: Non-Bargaining</p> <p>Exempt: No</p> <p>Req ID 29931</p> <p>Pay Range: 23.65 - 24.89 USD per hour</p> <p>Category: Medical Support Staff</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent. Current American Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card. Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period. Preferred Qualifications: Basic medical terminology.</p> <p>Preferred Experience: Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. One (1) year back office medical assistant experience in an outpatient clinic, physician's office, or related experience.
