<p>Position Type: Aide RBT/Paraprofessional</p> <p>There are Full-time positions available with these details: 7 hours/day for a total of 35 hours/week (student 180 day calendar).</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $17.66</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>RBT will report to student's learning center and report to school administration and assigned behavioral specialist</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Observe student behavior and create plans or suggestions for the Case Conference Committee to implement </li><li>Attend team meetings and collaborate with team members on an ongoing basis </li><li>Provide direct services in the areas of social skills and research-based programs designed for students with autism </li><li>Train paraprofessionals and teachers in the building </li><li>Training topics include: behavior intervention strategies, behavior functions, evidence-based practices for students </li><li>Follow up with paraprofessionals who need modeling and coaching support </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Must have a strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) </li><li>Has good communication skills, both written and verbal </li><li>Has an understanding of evidence-based practices </li><li>Must have excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Must be able to handle emotionally charged situations </li><li>Has the ability to train other people to apply behavior management techniques effectively </li><li>Has knowledge of and knows how to work with various support systems that are available in a community </li><li>Must know and understand state and federal laws and regulations associated with Special Education </li></ul> <p>Qualifications Profile:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (preferred) </li><li>RBT certification </li><li>Experience working with individuals with special needs </li></ul> <p>FLSA Status: Non-exempt</p> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Pay: $17.66</p> <p>Expected hours: 3.5 hours a day or 24.5 hours/week</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Monday to Friday </li></ul> <p>Work Location: In person Position: Year Round.
