Relocation to various unanticipated Amazon sites throughout the U.S. may be required.</p> <p>Multiple Positions Available:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Manage budgetary, people development and operations objectives within the Fulfillment Center.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee aspects of operation or functions at the site.</p> </li><li> <p>Managing and lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coach and mentor the team to ensure performance objectives are met, build positive employee relations and build leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan.</p> </li></ol> <p>5.Oversee overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.</p> <ol start="6"> <li> <p>Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Operations or related discipline and 5 years of technical management, management consulting, or engineering experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include 2 years of experience in the following skills:</p> <ol> <li> <p>management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.</p> </li><li> <p>experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination.</p> </li></ol> <p>Travel: Domestic travel required up to 15% of time.</p> <p>The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $149,796/year to $182,700/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
