<p>NOTICE OF VACANCY CULINARY ARTS INSTRUCTOR SCHOOL YEAR 2026-2027</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must have a current food sanitation certification and fulfill the requirements for the DESE Chapter 74 Preliminary License in Culinary Arts by the end of the 2026-27 school year. The DESE Culinary Arts Preliminary Vocational Technical Teacher License requirements include: High School Diploma or the equivalent. Possession of a current food sanitation certification. Servsafe course instructor and proctor administration preferred. Passing score of at least 70% on each test (written test and performance test) in culinary arts. Passing score on the Vocational Technical Literacy Skills Test (VTLST) or the Communication and Literacy Skills test. Front of the house operations/hospitality experience preferred. Five year of recent (within the last seven years), full-time employment experience directly related to culinary arts. An associate's degree may substitute for one of five years and a bachelor's degree may substitute two of the five years of required employment experience, provided that the degree includes subject matter related to or more strands of the Vocational Technical Education Framework in culinary arts, and/or in education.
