Our flexible schedule and flexible work environment options help you to create and maintain the work-life balance you need most.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer</p> <ul> <li>Establishes and drives front-end architectural decisions, setting the standard for code quality and performance. </li><li>Facilitates the adoption of new technologies and tools within the front-end team, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices </li><li>Serve as a key contributor in all stages of the software development life cycle with a focus on front-end development </li><li>Designs, develops, and implements robust front-end systems using TypeScript and React. </li><li>Constructs technical proof-of-concepts and/or minimum viable products for innovative front-end solutions </li><li>Develops and enforces best practices in coding and design, specifically in the context of TypeScript and React applications </li><li>Maintains, manages, and contributes to the component library and its build/deployment pipeline </li><li>Engages proactively in agile planning processes to comprehend upcoming development needs, provide input, and document technical design decisions </li><li>Collaborates with and mentors other members of the Engineering team </li><li>Works closely with teams and stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with overall product goals </li><li>Upholds security and compliance standards pertinent to front-end development </li></ul> <p>Requirements & Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Degree/certificate in Computer Science or a related discipline </li><li>6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with a focus on front-end development </li><li>Expert knowledge of TypeScript and React </li><li>Experience with modern front-end development tools and practices </li><li>Familiarity with state management (e.g., Context API) </li><li>Understanding of responsive design principles and implementation </li><li>Bonus points: Experience with additional front-end frameworks/libraries, interface design or prototyping tools such as Figma, CI/CD automation, unit and integration testing, and familiarity with backend technologies </li></ul> <p>Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box.
