<p>Adler Pelzer Group - a growing global Tier One supplier of Acoustic and Soft Trim products to the automotive industry is seeking a motivated and committed Tooling Technician for the manufacturing operations in Oregon, OH for 1st Shift - flexibility is required.</p> <ul> <li>Perform daily shop inspections and preventive maintenance </li><li>Exposure to metal fabrication, welding (Stick, MIG and TIG) </li><li>Ability to weld aluminum and steel </li><li>Performs all tasks in a safe manner </li><li>Comply with safety rules and company policies </li><li>Set-Up and get molds ready for each mold change </li><li>Maintain thermoplastic molds to ensure consistent quality, output and yield </li><li>Complete daily mold change sheets and other required paperwork </li><li>Complete/participate in any and all PPS activities as directed by Supervisors </li><li>Communicate effectively with production team member, Team Leaders, Engineers, and Inspectors to ensure quality installation of molds </li><li>Troubleshoot issues with the molds </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on injection mold tooling and prior to mold changes </li><li>Trouble shoot any problems involved with mold changes </li><li>Remove and install Hot Runner Service </li><li>Support Engineers with tool design reviews on new builds </li><li>Ability to determine feasabilities of engineering changes during design review </li><li>Must have own tools </li></ul> <p>Salary and Benefits: Adler Pelzer offers a competitive pay and benefits package as well as the opportunity to grow one's career.</p> <p>Benefits include: medical, dental, vision, other insurance options, paid time off, 401(K) match, life insurance, short term and long term disability insurance, employee assistance program, variety of automobile purchase discounts (BMW, Ford, GM, Subaru-many others), and tuition reimbursement.</p> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
