<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>This employee will be responsible for completing tasks on the Upper Coastal Waterfowl Project.</p> <p>Job Duties Include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Working on Upper Coastal Waterfowl Project properties including:</p> </li><li> <p>Samworth, Santee Coastal, Santee Delta.</p> </li><li> <p>Efficiently operating a long reach trackhoe.</p> </li><li> <p>Constructing dikes and re-topping dikes as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining trackhoe and conducting preventative maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Operating other heavy equipment as needed on the Project.</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting with the installation of water control structures.</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting Upper Coastal Waterfowl Project where needed (i.e. hunting, burning and/or maintenance activities).</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>High school diploma and four (4) years of experience in a specialized trades area.</p> <p>Ability to obtain a CDL and Captains license.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Ability to proficiently and safely operate a long reach trackhoe. Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to heavy equipment. Ability to work off of mats and in remote areas with the trackhoe. Ability to safely operate a boat and motor. Ability to operate bulldozer, backhoe and other heavy equipment.</p>
