<p>Fleet Service Technician I Full Time Cottage Grove WI 53527 Looking for a challenging and rewarding career Shared Medical Services is seeking a Fleet Service Technician I You will be responsible for learning and assisting the shop team with all aspects of trailer services for our fleet of mobile medical coaches in addition to other responsibilities Anticipated Schedule Monday Friday 800 am 430 pm Additional hours may be required based on workload Responsibilities Assists and performs all aspects of trailer service including body frame diesel generators brakes suspension electrical trouble shooting interior finish and environmental support systemsAssists and performs required trailer maintenance repair and refurbishment including full coach reconditioningAssists with medical equipment installationMay relocate mobile medical imaging equipment to various sites in accordance with applicable DOT rules and regulations and SMS standard operating proceduresSets up and tears down equipment in accordance with SMS andor manufacturers guidelinesCompletes necessary administrative tasks ie time reports billing and any applicable maintenance mileage or inspection formsFollows preventative maintenance guidelines and ensures proper maintenance of all equipment Works with vendors and members of SMS staff as appropriate to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failuresMaintains a clean work environmentComplies with all safety policies and regulations including DOT and radiation safety as applicablePerforms additional duties as requiredRequirements One to two years of driving tractortrailer experience preferredMust have experience with or be willing to learn semi trailers andor other heavy equipment maintenance including diesel engines brakes suspensions and generatorsWelding or fabrication experience preferredRV or interior fabrication experience preferredForklift experience preferredMust be able to understand and comply with applicable DOT rules and regulationsAble to demonstrate competency in all applicable areasMust be willing and able to train and assist other team members as necessaryMust be able to function effectively in a team oriented environmentMust be flexible reliable and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative Shared Medical Services is a leading provider of diagnostic mobile medical imaging with our administrative headquarters located in the Madison WI area Cottage Grove We offer a competitive benefits and compensation program including Health Dental and VisionEmployee Stock Ownership Plan401K Retirement PlanMedical and Dependent Care Flexible SpendingShort and Long Term Disability Life and AD&DPaid Time Off If you are interested in becoming a part of our growing team and have a desire to make a difference please apply today</p>
