<p>Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Biomedical Imaging Specialist II or III in Philadelphia, PA to work for an innovative and growing Healthcare Network. The</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventive maintenance (PM), calibration, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of biomedical and imaging equipment. </li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance requirements, maintaining accurate technical documentation. </li><li>Review FDA, manufacturer, and recall notifications; investigate equipment-related incident reports to support patient safety. </li><li>Provide in-service training and technical presentations to staff on equipment operation and electrical safety. </li><li>Participate in on-call rotation, flexible scheduling, vendor training, and support across multiple hospital locations as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred; OEM or modality-specific training strongly preferred. </li><li>3+ years of progressive experience performing component and/or board-level repair in medical imaging (5+ years preferred). </li><li>Experience supporting modalities such as Ultrasound, X-Ray, Cath Lab, Anesthesia, or related imaging systems. </li><li>Preferred certifications: CBET, CRES, Military (DoD) BMET, or OEM/vendor repair certifications. </li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of QA/PM standards, and proficiency with CMMS/work order systems. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <ul> <li>Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and certifications. </li><li>Overtime and on-call compensation eligibility. </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement plans). </li><li>Opportunities for continued OEM/vendor training and professional development. </li></ul> <p>Keywords:</p> <p>Biomedical Imaging, Medical Equipment Repair, Preventive Maintenance (PM),Board-Level Troubleshooting, Anesthesia, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Cath Lab,CBET / CRES, Healthcare Technology Management, health, dental, vision, retirement, benefits</p>
