We are dedicated to protecting the state of South Carolina and we would love to have you as a member of our team!</p> <p>Science | Service | Sustainability</p> <p>Under general supervision, this position provides administrative, operational, and personnel support for the Bureau of Land and Waste Management (BLWM). The role serves as the Bureau's SharePoint site manager, Time and Leave Coordinator, Procurement Liaison, and PCard Coordinator. It ensures the accuracy and integrity of personnel and procurement processes, maintains confidential records, coordinates with Human Resources, supervises file room operations, and supports Bureau leadership in carrying out day-to-day administrative functions essential to bureau operations.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>SharePoint Management: Develop and maintain the Bureau of Land and Waste Management (BLWM) SharePoint site. Collaborate with bureau program representatives to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and complete. Coordinate with other SCDES programs to ensure appropriate links are included and to prevent duplication of information across platforms.</p> <p>Time and Leave Coordination: Serve as the Bureau's Time and Leave Coordinator. Track staff schedules, manage telecommute agreements, and serve as the PCAS Coordinator. Work closely with the SCDES Office of Human Resources to support employee-related matters and ensure compliance with policies.</p> <p>Administrative and Personnel Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to BLWM management and staff. Advise on personnel procedures and SCDES administrative policies. Coordinate with staff and supervisors to maintain confidential personnel documents, including position descriptions, LWOP requests, and local personnel files. Ensure all required personnel processes are completed before submission to Human Resources. Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.</p> <p>Procurement and PCard Management: Serve as the BLWM Procurement Liaison and PCard Program Coordinator. Manage all aspects of the PCard process including reviewing, approving, and reconciling purchases (including IDTs) in a timely manner. Enter procurement data into SCEIS and WORKS to ensure prompt vendor payment. Maintain accurate purchasing records for audit purposes and collaborate with the assigned fiscal analyst as needed. Complete purchasing and travel requests as assigned.</p> <p>Assets, Records and Mailroom Oversight: Supervise the Bureau's File Room Coordinator and oversee daily mail processing. Act as backup for records coordination and FOIA response processing. Serve as lead point of contact for bureau asset management.</p> <p>Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the BLWM Bureau Chief and Assistant Bureau Chiefs.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li>A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to procurement services. </li><li>A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience. </li></ul> <p>Note: Degrees in a related technical field include, but are not limited to, Earth sciences, chemistry, biology, physics, soil science, environmental science, mathematics, etc.</p> <p>Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.</p> <p>Applicants indicating college credit or degree(s) on the application are encouraged to upload an unofficial copy of the transcript as an attachment to the application.
