<p>Shipping & Receiving Driver</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>CDL Driver at shipping & receiving at the Experimental Station and Chestnut Run Plaza.</p> <p>Responsibilities & Duties:</p> <ul> <li>CDL Driver's License Required </li><li>Log, manage, and prioritize incoming customer ticketed requests from dispatch for movement of material </li><li>Follow and adhere to all SOP safety guidelines provided by DuPont & Brown & Root </li><li>Daily delivery of Dry Ice & report delivered amounts to Manager </li><li>Daily pallet pick ups </li><li>Daily pick up of PIP (Proprietary Information Protection), weigh and disposal </li><li>Stage packages as needed and load onto vehicles </li><li>Deliver all packages / freight from Receiving per package delivery label </li><li>Drive company vehicle to pick up client mail from various post offices, and deliver mail on site to various locations in each building </li><li>Provide accountability for the delivery of the package(s) and the whereabouts at any given time </li><li>Knowledge on how to use a PDA (handheld scanner) </li><li>Conduct a visual scan of the dock / receiving area at the end of the day to audit for any undelivered packages </li><li>Safely operate company vehicles </li><li>Deliver mail, packages & freight at the Experimental Station and various other DuPont sites within a 25-mile radius within established time frames, per assigned schedules. </li><li>Obtain proof of delivery for all package / freight deliveries (photo delivery process) </li><li>Notify Manager about any problems or delays in delivering or receiving packages / mail / freight </li><li>Inspect vehicle daily using the Pre / Post Vehicle Inspection Checklist and report any issues to Manager immediately </li><li>Keep vehicles clean and fueled up and ensure all preventive maintenance is up to date. </li><li>Perform other duties as requested by Manager. </li><li>Meet customer requirements and resolve any customer issues as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Pre-hire physical required </li><li>Background Check </li><li>Must have a Valid CDL Driver's License </li><li>Fork Lift & electric Pallet Jack experience </li><li>High School Diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field </li><li>Previous Driving Experience </li><li>Ability to ensure that quality and production standards are met </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and understand the time issues involved with package deliveries </li><li>Ability to prioritize and work with co-workers, supervisors and customers </li><li>Good customer service skills, professional attitude and appearance a must </li><li>Capable of lifting 50 LBS. </li><li>Upholds all company expectations for Safety, Health, and Environmental standards, policies, and procedures. </li></ul>
