<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Easton Coherent SiC Quality team ensures the accuracy and reliability of measurements used to control manufacturing processes for silicon carbide (SiC) wafers. These measurements are critical to maintaining product quality across our global semiconductor operations.</p> <p>As a Metrology Alignment Program Quality Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing and statistical analysis. You will support efforts to evaluate and improve measurement systems, working closely with engineers and technicians to ensure data accuracy and consistency.</p> <p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (GRR) studies to assess measurement system performance </li><li>Analyze data using JMP statistical software </li><li>Collect, track, and distribute samples for testing and evaluation </li><li>Perform measurements on key quality metrics for SiC wafer products </li><li>Document findings and contribute to technical reports </li><li>Present results and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Rising senior (completed 3 years) or recent graduate (within 1 year) </li><li>Major in engineering, science, or statistics </li><li>Must include a combination of technical field + statistics coursework </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with JMP or Minitab preferred </li><li>Strong skills in Excel and data analysis </li></ul> <p>Skills & Other Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities </li><li>Attention to detail and data accuracy </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication </li><li>Ability to work both independently and in a team environment </li><li>Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, technical setting </li></ul> <p>Internship Details</p> <ul> <li>Duration: 10-14 weeks </li><li>Location: On-site in Easton, PA </li><li>Work environment includes office and cleanroom settings </li></ul> <p>Why Join Coherent?</p> <p>At Coherent, interns contribute to meaningful, real-world projects from day one.
