<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Student Services</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>12/9/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>District 211</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>02/06/2026</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Township High School District 211 is now accepting specialist level school psychology internship applications for the 2026-2027 school year, with interns serving five days per week at an assigned school building.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The School Psychologist Intern will work under the supervision of a licensed school psychologist to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and case study evaluations, participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivering individual and group counseling, and collaborating with teachers, families, and special education teams to create supportive learning environments. The intern will also assist with interventions, progress monitoring, and data analysis to improve student outcomes. This position provides hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities while fulfilling internship requirements for licensure in school psychology.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Eligible candidates are:</p> <ul> <li>completing a Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology in the 2026-2027 academic year with a school psychologist endorsement </li><li>completing a post-masters school psychology program in the 2026-2027 academic year to receive a school psychologist endorsement </li></ul> <p>Application Procedure:</p> <p>Candidates will be chosen from those who complete the online application</p> <p>Position Pay Range:</p> <p>School psychologist interns receive a stipend based on the number of days a week the intern will serve:</p> <p>5-day a week internship $19,132.71</p> <p>Position Benefit information:</p> <p>Interns are eligible for health insurance benefits:</p> <p>Teacher Contract - Benefits</p> <p>Candidates may contact:</p> <p>Renee Erickson Director of Special Education at</p> <p>rjerickson@d211.org</p>
