Resumes may be submitted to hr@adenacorporation.com</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Class A CDL/Semi Driver hauls construction material and equipment used in the construction process to and from various projects, both interstate and intrastate of Ohio.</p> <p>Primary Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lowboy experience* </li><li>Loads and unloads various types of heavy equipment using various trucks and trailers </li><li>Hauls structural steel, building materials and permitted loads </li><li>Follows best practices to ensure that loads are secured and safe </li><li>Inspects trucks and trailers for mechanical items and safety issues and performs preventative maintenance on the vehicles </li><li>Operates in compliance with FMCSA safety standards </li><li>Documents and logs work and rest periods in compliance with DOT regulations </li><li>Plans routes and meets delivery schedules </li><li>Ensures all safety devices on vehicles or equipment are in good working order </li><li>Adheres to the company's safety policies to create a safe work environment </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>PM21</p> <p>Desired Qualifications/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required </li><li>Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties of the role </li><li>Minimum of five (5) years CDL experience </li><li>Heavy equipment experience required </li><li>Mechanic experience is a plus </li><li>Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record </li><li>Must maintain Class A CDL and medical card </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Must possess good time management skills </li><li>Must be self-motivated </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency </li><li>Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions </li></ul> <p>PM21</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
