The Shift Supervisor is pivotal in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, upholding high-quality standards, prioritizing food safety, and fostering a positive team environment. We seek a candidate with a proven track record in the food service industry, strong leadership abilities, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced setting.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Team Leadership: Motivate and guide team members to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve operational objectives. </li><li>Shift Management: Supervise all facets of restaurant operations during PM shifts, encompassing closing protocols, staffing, and adherence to company policies. </li><li>Customer Service: Guarantee prompt, welcoming, and personalized service to guests; address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. </li><li>Quality Control: Sustain rigorous standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety throughout the restaurant, promptly addressing any issues. </li><li>Food Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and preparation. </li><li>Cash Handling: Oversee cash transactions, including POS system operations, cash reconciliation, and deposit preparation, ensuring accuracy and security. </li><li>Problem-Solving: Address operational issues or emergencies swiftly and effectively, such as equipment malfunctions, staffing shortages, or customer incidents. </li><li>Compliance: Ensure adherence to all pertinent health, safety, and sanitation regulations. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Availability to work daytime 5:30-3 and/or nighttime shifts from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM is required. </li><li>Previous leadership experience in a restaurant or food service environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. </li><li>Superior customer service abilities, with a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences. </li><li>Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. </li><li>Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines; preference for ServSafe certification. </li><li>Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills. </li><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. </li></ul> <p>At Chick-fil-A, the team member role is more than just a job, it's an opportunity.
