<p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates and monitors the service, repair, and maintenance of a variety of both gas and diesel vehicles, machinery and equipment </li><li>Plans, organizes, schedules, and monitors the maintenance, repair, and servicing of motor vehicles and equipment </li><li>Oversees preventive maintenance program for City's fleet </li><li>Assists in the preparation of specifications for the acquisition of motor vehicles and equipment </li><li>Develops and implements training programs for fleet personnel </li><li>Prepares periodic and special reports for both equipment users and management </li><li>Develops, administers, and monitors programs for the replacement of all City vehicles and equipment </li><li>Oversees operation of the vehicle wash facility and fuel system </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Extensive professional experience in fleet management and at least one of the </li></ul> <p>following:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or higher and three years of relevant work experience within the last five years </li><li>Trade school certificate or associate's degree and five years of relevant work experience within the last </li></ul> <p>seven years</p> <ul> <li>High school graduation or equivalent and seven years of relevant work experience (a minimum of </li></ul> <p>seven years of municipal experience or a minimum combination of four years of municipal and three</p> <p>years of private experience) within the last nine years.</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license </li><li>Certified in or ability to obtain within one year of employment, Public Fleet Professionals (CPFP) designation </li></ul> <p>The City of Winchester is an Equal Opportunity Employer and will consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or any other classification protected by law.</p>
