<p>Summer Intern - Communications & HR Recruitment Support (Hybrid)</p> <p>Alternatives, Inc., a nonprofit organization providing supports and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is seeking a Summer Intern to support our Human Resources and Communications teams. Our organization is located in Raritan, NJ.</p> <p>This hybrid internship offers hands-on experience in recruitment marketing, digital content creation, and nonprofit communications while gaining exposure to HR operations and organizational messaging.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist with creating and updating recruitment marketing materials for digital and print use </li><li>Support recruitment campaigns and messaging to attract qualified candidates </li><li>Create and edit short-form video content for recruitment and promotional use </li><li>Help redesign flyers, rack cards, and informational materials to align with branding </li><li>Organize and manage digital media assets (photos, video, graphics) </li><li>Research new communication tools, software, and AI platforms that support marketing and recruitment </li><li>Attend team meetings and assist with communications and HR-related projects as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Journalism, Film/Video Production, or a related field </li><li>Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite </li><li>Familiarity with video editing tools and social media content creation </li><li>Basic knowledge of WordPress or website content management systems preferred </li><li>Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid internship (combination of in-office and remote work) </li><li>Must be available during standard business hours </li><li>Includes organizational orientation and training </li></ul> <p>This is a great opportunity for students interested in nonprofit communications, digital media, and HR recruitment marketing while supporting a mission-driven organization.</p>
