<p>Job Overview:</p> <p>Project Controls Engineer (PCE) - O&M is primarily responsible for setting up jobs, training, and cross-training Field Engineers. The Project Controls Engineer is responsible for progress reporting, cost control analysis, project cost forecasting, cost, and cash flow development, change management and contingency management. Administers and coordinates the daily operations of the project site working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager. Will lead training effort of the Field Engineer job functions to ensure Primoris's processes are learned, developed, and demonstrated.</p> <p>PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop Field Engineers. </li><li>Participate in new job setup and oversee progress reporting, cost control analysis, project cost forecasting, change management, and contingency management. </li><li>Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure the project stays within scope and various project-related activities. </li><li>Train and develop Field Engineers and Project Administrators in Primoris processes and job functions. </li><li>Track project progress and financial status, analyzing costs, efficiency, and production. </li><li>Support Project Manager and Site Manager with change orders, project budgets, and cost forecasts. </li><li>Coordinate project update meetings with clients and internal stakeholders. </li><li>Manage the project coordination platform(s) including managing RFIs, submittals, quality documentation, project documentation, etc. by coordinating with responsible parties. </li><li>Manage engineering requests and deliverables through the construction phase of the project. </li><li>Maintain good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and co-workers. </li><li>Ensure final inventory and jobsite closeout activities are completed accurately and on time. </li><li>Assist Site Manager and Project Manager in the daily operations of the project site. </li><li>Work with Trade Superintendents to understand various work disciplines. </li><li>Assist with subcontractor-related tasks, purchase requests, agreements, and deliverables. </li><li>Assist with permits and compliance as needed. </li><li>Ensure drawing redlines are captured accurately and facilitate developing redlines into record drawings. </li><li>Participate in lessons learned meetings. </li><li>Update the project schedule weekly. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR). </li><li>Accounting (math and record-keeping). </li><li>Ability to give presentations to groups of up to 10 people. </li><li>Involved with and understands 2 or more disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning). </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, e-mail) and Visio. </li><li>Effective communication (oral, written, presentation), motivation, and supervisory skills. </li><li>Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks. </li><li>Project Controls Engineers are able to work remotely with travel 25%-50% of the time </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>401k w/employer match </li><li>Health/Dental/Vision insurance plans </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>10 paid holidays </li><li>Stock purchase plan </li><li>Salary $70,000- $91,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies. </li></ul> <p>Primoris Renewable Energy provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
